Casa do Sol Froiña

Casa do Sol Froiña, Bodega familiar ubicada en el Pazo del Siglo XVI “Casa Do Sol”. El 80% del viñedo está en el Valle del Ulla y el 20% son viñedos singulares del Salnés, frontera Norte y Centro, respectivamente, como D.O Rias Baixas, variedad Albariño. Tiene una crianza sobre lías de alrededor de diez meses, en función de cada añada.

Color: Limpio, amarillo pálido ligeramente acerado.

Nariz: Notas de lima y pomelo, y fondo de albaricoque, melocotón y manzana. Notas de flor de almendro.

Paladar: Entrada suave, con cuerpo pero con marcada mineralidad y aires marinos que recuerdan el escabeche.

Alcohol: 13,5%.

Temperatura de servicio: 10ºC.

Casa do Sol Froiña is a family winery located in the 16th-century manor "Casa Do Sol". 80% of the vineyard is in the Ulla Valley and 20% are singular vineyards in Salnés, Northern and Central border, respectively, under the D.O. Rías Baixas designation, with the Albariño variety. It undergoes aging on lees for around ten months, depending on the vintage.

Color: Clean, pale yellow with slightly steely hues.

Nose: Notes of lime and grapefruit, with a background of apricot, peach, and apple. Notes of almond blossom.

Palate: Soft entry, with body but with marked minerality and marine airs reminiscent of escabeche.

Alcohol content: 13.5% ABV.
